Dominique Margaux Dawes (born November 20, 1976, in Silver Spring, Maryland) is a United States gymnast. Inside 1996, she was the member of the U.S. women's gymanstic exercise team, which won Olympic gold; she besides won an single bronze palm on the floor exercise. Dawes was too the member of the 1992 bronze-medal-winning women's gymanstic exercise team. Around 2000, she processed her third Olympic team, which traveled to Sydney & finished 4th in the team competition. Inside 1994, she was a National Everthing-In the area of Champion, & won altogether quaternary single cases. Her explosive billowing & up-and-coming style earned her a nickname "Awesome Dawesome." She graduated by using her Bachelor's degree from either a University of Maryland within 2002. When of 2005, Dawes gives personal lessons in Sundays at her personal gymnasium, Hill's Gymanstic exercise.
